The Pendleton County Clerk said that they had more than 400 early voters, so they're expecting a large turnout Tuesday as well. They have four in the running for the Second Congressional District, three Democrats and one Republican.

Voting can be done this year through machines or with paper ballots, but one thing has changed. You can now choose a Democratic ballot or a Republican ballot.

"One of the changes this year is that, if a person is registered non-partisan, no party, they can request a Democrat or Republican ballot. Before they were only able to request a Republican ballot, and not Democrat, so that has changed, " says Pendleton County Clerk, Nancy Gonshor.

Voters will also want to take a Board of Education ballot as well since there are separate races on that. Gonshor says they would like to see about a 75-percent turnout.

One issue that seems to be dividing residents in Pendleton County is the wind generation facility on which voters can have their say Tuesday. Another hot topic is the race for prosecutor.

"We also have three prosecutors running and I think that somebody should pay attention to that race. I think it's going to be very tight, and I think anyone that has favorites should certainly come out and vote, " says John Harman, O.D., a Franklin resident.
