Those looking for jobs got some tips at a business resource fair at Blue Ridge Community College Wednesday.

Business leaders say networking with other companies is an excellent resource.

A panel of experts held special seminars about marketing and financing business in tough times.

Local businesses spoke on how they operate during tough times.

Tony Smith, Staunton Creative Community Fund, says, "We currently offer a micro-loan program for small businesses. We offer loans $5,000 to $15,000 on average. What we do is partner with local banks to provide all the financing that a business might need if they are to start up or grow their business."

The resource fair was put on as part of Business Appreciation Week.
