The murder trial of a man accused of killing a Mormon missionary and wounding another has been delayed until November.

The trial of James Boughton Junior was scheduled to begin Friday in Chesapeake. The 20-year-old is charged with fatally shooting 21-year-old Morgan Young of Utah, and wounding 19-year-old Joshua Heidbrink of Colorado in January 2006.

Boughton's defense attorney, Andrew Sacks, says a judge granted him a continuance until November 10 after learning of new evidence in the case.

Heidbrink had said at a hearing that he and Young were going door-to-door evangelizing when they heard a shot and saw a man running toward them.

The man shot him, then he saw Young on his knees looking up at the shooter, heard a pop, then saw Young fall forward. He did not identify the shooter at the hearing.
