"He's wanted to do this his whole life," commented Bob Miller, who's 21-year-old son Jonathan, was among the 60 members of the 222nd Support Deployment that left for Ft. Bragg, North Carolina Friday.

The 222nd is a water support battalion- they provide and distribute water to troops and Army bases. The group is expected to go overseas, but right now all information on location is not being released.

"We don't know where we'll go," commented Specialist Morton Hagg.

Jonathan Miller said Friday is the day he can make a difference.

"I have no worries," commented the feisty Blue Ridge Community College student. "I know everything will be just fine."

"I am just so proud of my boy," commented the eldest Miller, choking back tears. "I'm so proud."
