The rain helped cause an electric pole to shoot out sparks in Augusta County Tuesday.

Some residents in the Springhill and Ft. Defiance areas were in the dark for about a half-hour.

Officials at Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative say all power is restored now.

A fire-rescue crew was sent to the scene from Weyers Cave.

There were no injuries or property damage.
