Christmas is the season of giving and one Valley group is making sure the children of Long Beach Mississippi will be receiving this holiday. The Shenandoah Valley Children's Choir had their annual Christmas Concert Saturday. This year the Choristers asked audience members to each bring a teddy bear to the concert to be sent to children in Long Beach. The group teamed up with the Valley Responds in an effort to warm the hearts of the little ones affected by the hurricane. "The Shenandoah Valley Children's Choir, they are the choir with heart and it's really heavy on their hearts to think of the children of Long Beach at this time of year and to send presents," says Parent Volunteer Joan Gardner. If you missed out on Saturday's performance, you have another chance to see the show. A second concert will be held Sunday in EMU's Lehman Auditorium at 3 p.m. If you attend, don't forget to bring a teddy bear to donate to the children of Long Beach.
