Harrisonburg- As celebrations continue over the three Cleveland women rescued after being held for nine, 10 and 11 years now the recovery process starts.
How can they get over their ordeal? WHSV reached out to a Valley recovery group to get their take on this. The executive director at The Collins Center, Gianna Gariglietti, said she would advise them to get counseling, which is also what experts in childhood trauma advised. Gariglietti stresses the importance of also getting support from family. Gariglietti also said everyone heals differently.
