The Crimora man now charged with six armed robberies in the Valley will not be back in court until August.
In an agreement between the state and Brian Eugene Brubaker's lawyer, the case for a list of robbery charges will be continued until August.
Brubaker was in court Monday to face felony misdemeanor probation violation charges stemming from the robbery charges.
Attorneys agreed to extend Brubaker's probation without jail time. He was on probation for pleading guilty to writing bad checks and fraud in 2002.
Brubaker is charged now with six robberies in the Valley in three counties, all of which took place in mid-June.
In Greene County, he is charged with robberies at the Forest Lakes Food Lion and Boot'Vil and Crawford Saddlery in Ruckersville. In Harrisonburg, he is charged with a robbery at the Tractor Supply Company. In Staunton, he is charged with a robbery at the Augusta County Farm Co-op. Finally, in Augusta County, he faces charges for a robbery at the Ladd Convenience Store.
Harrisonburg Police say they're investigating to see if Brubaker was involved in about eight other robberies across the Valley that happened around the same time, including an armed robbery at the Harrisonburg Cracker Barrel on June 16.
