A woman charged in the robbery and fatal shooting of a Virginia Commonwealth University student is set to go on trial September 12.

Richmond Circuit Court Judge George F. Tidey scheduled the trial date for 20-year-old Zsabriela Evelyn Williams on Monday.

Williams is charged with murder, two counts of robbery and three counts of using a firearm in a felony.

A co-defendant, 17-year-old Howard Reed Scott III of South Richmond, is scheduled to be tried August 18 on similar charges.

Police say Williams and Scott allegedly robbed and killed 19-year-old Tyler J. Binsted on March 27 in a city park in Richmond.
