A Harrisonburg man with an extensive driving record flipped his car in Rockingham County and walked away with scrapes and bruises.

The crash happened around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Melvin Eavers ran off the right shoulder of Martz Road, hit a culvert, flipped his SUV three or four times and landed on a tree.

Amazingly, State Police say he went to the hospital and was later released with minor injuries.

A trooper says Eavers was charged with reckless driving and driving on a revoked license.
