Valley grocers may see a new shape at the store the next time they buy a gallon of milk.

The classic bottle recently got a complete makeover and now sports a rectangular design. The new shape makes it easier for shipping companies.

The cartons fit on top of each other allowing companies to ship 50 percent more milk per truck.

While customer's still need to buy milk, the jury is still out on its new shape.

Bianca Bowman of Harrisonburg says, "It's hard to pour when you first open it, but other than that, it's okay."

Martha Alger of Dayton says, "I like the change. I really like recycling with it because I can put other liquids in it."

Sarah Gray also from Harrisonburg says, "I just think it was interesting looking."

You can find the new gallons at Costco in Harrisonburg.
