Mcgaheysville, Va. (WHSV) With temperatures warming up in the Valley the next few days, the temperature will keep the Massanutten Resort from making snow in their ski areas.

According to Massanutten's Sports Director, they will have to wait until about Sunday until they can make more snow when temperatures may return to what we expect to see this time of year.

Until then, they have enough man made snow to last them through the warmer temperatures.

"We're able to make snow, quite a few hours this year, starting back in the middle of November, so we have almost a 30/32 based built up. We're planning on getting through this blip in the warm weather here relatively unscathed and we'll get right back into the holidays," said Kenny Hess, the Director of Sports and Risk Management with Massanutten.

Hess says the cost of making man made snow is around $500 per hour.
