Harrisonburg, Va. (WHSV) The 24-Hour Project is underway in Downtown Harrisonburg. It goes until 5 p.m. Saturday at Court Square Theater.
A group from James Madison University is just one of the many performances happening there. Organizers say they are pleased with the turnout so far.
"I think we're only going to get more people as the night goes on and people get off work and come here after and come here for maybe the whole night," said Laurie Benade, co-chair of the 24-Hour committee. "In terms of the stage, it's been going really well. The performers have all been really great so far, and they've all stuck around and enjoyed each other's performances."
Admission is $10 at the door.
