Stuarts Draft Woman Charged with Forgery
Harrisonburg, Va.
A Stuarts Draft woman is being charged with forgery after police say she tried to pass bad checks at the BBT Bank in Harrisonburg.

A Stuarts Draft woman is being charged with forgery after police say she tried to pass bad checks at the BBT Bank in Harrisonburg.

According to the Harrisonburg Police Department, Misty Garvin stole two checks and then tried to cash them for money.

Garvin is now being charged with forgery and obtaining money by false pretenses.

The amount of the two checks is not being released.

this girl needs to be in jail!!! She has done this more times then I can count on one hand!!! and the courts just keep giving her a slap on the wrist and letting her go out and do it again... I mean one time slap on the wrist but this going to be like the 8 or 9 time she has pasted bad checks or stolen checks or used credit cards that was not hers.. I mean come on take her kids away and but her JAIL then mayb she will get the point.. cause she aint got it yet!!!!
