A Maryland man has died after his motorcycle rear-ended a cruiser during a police chase in the Eastern Panhandle.

West Virginia State Police Sgt. K.E. Plumer identified the man as 49-year-old Frank Alton Biddinger of Damascus, Maryland.

Plumer says he tried to pull over Biddinger at about 1 a.m. Wednesday for speeding in a construction zone near Charles Town. When Biddinger wouldn't stop, police from three other agencies joined Plumber in pursuit.

Plumer says Biddinger's motorcycle crashed after a deputy sheriff passed him and braked the cruiser in an attempt to get Biddinger to stop.

Biddinger was wanted in Maryland on charges of resisting arrest, trying to elude police and driving on a revoked licenses, among others.

This guy was obviously a loser, but it sounds to me that the cop should be charged with manslaughter. The force used to stop him was excessive. If this guys has a family...I smell a lawsuit.

The police did their jobs. This alcoholic dirtball needed to be stopped before he killed an innocent person. I'd give the cop a medal, even if he ran him down on purpose, after Frankie-boy tried to run.

a white guy on a harley equals death no matter what he is guilty of any minority and the police would be to affraid of Al sharpton coming to town. no one deserves to be tried and executed by the govt legal extortionists. black, white,or brown. R.I.P. frank
