Massanutten Ski Resort officials say this year was the best ski season of the past 25 years. Large amounts of rain in the fall filled reservoirs used for snow making and large amounts of real snow last month drew in lots of people.
Manager Steve Showalter says 200,000 people visited the resort since Dec. 6. He says, "We had great snow. We had more skiers and tubers than we've ever had in the past so everything together just made it a great year."
The ski slopes will close this Sunday. But the tube park will stay open with various hours until the end of next week.
