Police are still searching Monday for an inmate who has been on the run since Friday.

Mark Craig escaped from the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center in Winchester around 4 p.m. Friday and has been on the loose ever since.

He was in custody for felony destruction of property, fraud and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was also being held as a fugitive of justice for the state of Maryland.

Police say Craig stole an SUV, which has since been recovered, from Frederick County.

Craig is a 35-year-old white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He's about 5 foot 10 and weighs 160 pounds.

Anyone with information about Craig's whereabouts should contact the Frederick County Sheriff's Office at 540-662-6162.
