A grand jury has indicted a woman on attempted murder charges for allegedly trying to drown her young son.
Authorities arrested 23-year-old Samantha Elizabeth Dale after they say she held her son Elijah under water.
A Shenandoah County Circuit Court indicted the mother on attempted second-degree murder, malicious wounding and child abuse charges Wednesday.
Dale will be in court July 23.

How many times must this woman be in the news for abusing her child? I hope they take him away and let a family who wants him and can care for him have him for a son. What is the system DOING? Must he be found dead before anyone does anything?
