Known to the world for playing Deputy Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show," Don Knotts' memory is preserved in his hometown as one of West Virginia's favorite sons.

I always loved watching the Andy Griffith Show when I was growing up. Too bad they don't make good, wholesome shows like that anymore. One of my favorite movies that Don Knotts starred in was "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken". Rest in peace, Don, we love you and miss you.
