The Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Bureau is looking for partners to advertise in the 2009 Virginia Travel Guide. The guide is the official travel guide for the Commonwealth.

It features local tourist attractions in the Shenandoah Valley section. The visitors bureau will sell listings to stakeholders in the area, such as restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions.

Officials at the bureau want Winchester and Frederick County to have a strong presence in the guide.

Natalie Wills, Convention and Visitors Bureau executive director, says, "Our for-profit attractions, like if you're in to something that attracts tourists, and you think you want to have a presence in there, please come talk to us, because tourists have a variety of interests when they come here. So we want to make sure we cover all the bases."

Non-profit attractions get a free listing in the guide.

If you're interested in listing your business as a tourist attraction in Winchester or Frederick County, contact Wills. You can call her at (540) 542-1326 or e-mail her at
