Strasburg, Va. A trial date has been set for a Stausburg woman accused of trying to drown her young son.

A trial date has been set for a Stausburg woman accused of trying to drown her young son.
A Shenandoah County Circuit Court indicted Samantha Elizabeth Dale on attempted second-degree murder, malicious wounding and child abuse charges.
Authorities arrested Dale after they say she held her five-year-old son Elijah underwater.
Dale will stand trial October 21.
