Mountaineer football and basketball fans will see more of the game when West Virginia University completes the installation of two state-of-the-art video and audio scoreboards.
The two systems are valued at about $5 million each and will be installed at Puskar Stadium and the Coliseum.
Athletic department spokesman Russ Sharp says fans should enjoy the upgrades because they will increase the sizzle and excitement at both venues.
Sharp says the scoreboards also will enable the athletic department to increase its revenues by using them for advertising.
Both projects will be finished before the football and basketball teams take to the field and court this fall.
