State police say a hit and run crash sent a pregnant woman from Harrisonburg to the hospital.

State police say a car carrying a pregnant woman and her niece, rear ended a black pickup after the truck driver slammed on the brakes.

After both parties pulled over, the truck sped away.

The driver of the car, Lissette Moyet-Baeze, was taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Now, police are looking for the truck.

Trooper John Carpenter says, "It's an unknown make and model, with some frame work on the back that could be designed to hold ladders and a white sign on that black truck that says 'I work for Shenandoah Valley.'"

Carpenter says he's searched every construction company in the Valley for the logo that was on the truck, but so far, he hasn't had any luck tracking down the driver.
