A two vehicle crash sent three people to the hospital Thursday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., a car heading North on the Route 262 bypass near the Middlebrook Avenue exit pulled to the right side of the shoulder to make a u-turn.

As it was turning around, another car, also traveling north, struck the driver side door.

Each vehicle had two people inside and everyone but the passenger of the vehicle that was turning around were transported to Augusta Medical Center with injuries.

The driver of the first car was pinned in the vehicle and had to be removed by crews.
