Afternoon Accident on I-81

The wet weather made for dangerous driving in the valley this afternoon. An accident on interstate 81 near Weyer's Cave sent two people to the hospital. A silver pick up truck ran into the back of a white minivan, causing the back window to blow out. The passenger and the driver of the minivan, 45 year old Mary Alexander of Harrisonburg was taken to Augusta Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver of the silver minivan, John Utter of Charlotte, North Carolina, is being charged in the accident.
