Severe thunderstorms rolled across portions of Georgia early Saturday morning damaging homes, businesses and downing power lines. The storm left a trail of destruction splitting trees and tearing roofs from buildings, but no injuries were reported.
Tennessee wasn't as fortunate. So far 12 are dead after a tornado hit Tennessee Friday. Saturday crews are clearing away wreckage and restoring services. Bystanders are being urged not to smoke because of leaking gas. The local sheriff says the twister that tore through the area was up to 200 yards wide. One resident says half million-dollar homes were shredded.
