One of the eight people accused of selling identification cards to illegal immigrants in Harrisonburg made a plea deal Tuesday.

Christina Dawn Cheatham pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy. As part of the deal, the U.S. Attorney is dismissing a count of conspiracy to traffic identity documents.

In March, U.S. Attorneys said an investigation, lasting several months, revealed that the suspects were helping illegal aliens get identification documents, then taking them to the offices of the Department of Motor Vehicles in Ohio to get licenses.
