The Tri-County Fair has begun in Petersburg, West Virginia. The fair combines Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton Counties.
On Wednesday, the fair will include an evening parade and a pig scramble. The fair concludes on Saturday with a jousting exhibition, lamb obstacle course, and displays of local art work.
Meanwhile, officials in Rockingham County say one of their main attractions at next week's fair could be one of the best-selling shows ever.
The Beach Boys are performing on August 12 at 8 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The reserved section has already sold out, but officials say there are still 1,800 tickets available in general admission. Those tickets cost $20.
