A man already charged for a string of armed robberies around the Valley has been connected to one more.

A grand jury heard evidence concerning a robbery at the Cracker Barrel in Harrisonburg back in June. It handed up an indictment against Brian Eugene Brubaker for the crime Monday afternoon.

Police say Brubaker had a knife and demanded money from the restaurant.

Brubaker has already been indicted for several other armed robberies. He has been charged for a robbery at the Harrisonburg Tractor Supply Store and the Augusta County Farm Co-op in Staunton.

There are also charges stemming from an attempted robbery at the Ladd Convenience Store in Stuarts Draft and a petit larceny for a gas drive off in Fort Defiance.

Brubaker faces three in Greene County for robberies at Boot'Vil, Crawford Saddlery and the Forest Lakes Food Lion in Ruckersville. He pleaded not guilty to these charges last week.

All of these incidents occurred in mid-June.
