Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling says he is very much looking forward to next week's Republican National Convention.

Bolling was in Waynesboro Thursday night for the opening of a new Republican campaign office. The ceremony included a ribbon cutting, as well as food and fellowship.

Bolling discussed several issues with the crowd, including the economy, national security, and energy consumption.

He says he hopes to get the issues in front of voters who are still undecided next week.

"We're going to try to get the voters to do two things. One is ask themselves which of these candidates for president really has the background, knowledge and experience it takes to lead our country at a critical time in its history, and second, which of these candidate have the right stand on the important issues facing America today," says Bolling.
