A charred delivery truck is all that remains from a 4 a.m. fire Saturday morning in downtown Luray.

The box truck sits in the parking lot of the Markowitz Appliance Store on Bank Street. A neighbor reported the fire after returning from a fishing trip.

Witness James Marshall said, "I pulled into my driveway and when I got out to get the tackle off the back of my truck I saw there was an orange glow coming from back here. So, I walked back here, around the corner and I saw this truck was engulfed in flames. So, I ran back to the house and called 911."

The Luray Fire Department doesn't know how the fire got started. They say a person was found inside, sitting in the driver's seat. That name has not been released.

Local and state police are still investigating.
