Waynesboro Police are investigating a joy ride with some construction equipment. Police say someone broke into a front-end loader at a construction site on Essex Avenue over the weekend. They say the suspect drove it around until it got stuck, and partially buried, in a mud pit. The damage costs $1,000.

Rockingham County Sheriff's deputies say someone stole ten guns from a home on Mongold Hollow Road in Bergton on Tuesday. A six-foot bear skin rug was also taken.

Harrisonburg Police are looking for a man accused of stealing credit cards from the campus of Eastern Mennonite University. A surveillance camera picture of the suspect was taken from an ATM where police say he was using the stolen cards to get some cash. Police say he was traveling on a moped.

Harrisonburg Police are also warning companies to lock their storage facilities. Tools and other equipment were stolen from a storage trailer and a truck tool box in two separate cases in the past week. The trailer and the tool box were left unlocked.

Staunton Police report that a truck was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot on Friday. A blue 1991 Ford Ranger was taken from Bare Street. The truck was left unlocked with the keys inside.

Augusta County Sheriff's deputies say someone drove off from the CITGO gas station in Mint Spring without paying for $60 of diesel fuel Monday morning. The vehicle is described as a black Ford pickup, pulling a camper.

Shenandoah County Sheriff's deputies are trying to find a man accused of stealing 70 pounds of chicken. A worker at George's Chicken in Edinburg says he saw the man take the chicken, but could not stop him before he left.
