A man found guilty of malicious wounding in Harrisonburg will spend five years behind bars.
Shareef Akhtab also was sentenced to two years suspended probation upon release.
Akhtab, also known as Mo-Mo, was charged for attacking a woman in the northeast part of Harrisonburg in July 2006.
