A former Harrisonburg High School football player now faces a dozen drug-related charges associated with incidents at the high school.

Ronnell Brandon faces nine counts of selling drugs on or near school property and three counts of manufacturing or possessing a controlled substance.

After an investigation last spring, a police affidavit claimed Brandon sold prescription drugs to his teammates before games.

In July, Brandon was indicted as an adult for allegedly robbing a Rockbridge County student at knife point last Halloween.

Brandon will be in juvenile court October 14 on those drug charges.
