Kim Sandum is running for the fourth district seat. As a mechanical engineer, she's says she's trained to solve problems and Rockingham County's growth is one she wants to tackle.
"I think over time, if we don't grow intelligently, I think we will end up just like everywhere else with cement and big box stores," said Kim Sandum, District 4 Supervisor Candidate. "It will lose the charm that makes it a nice place to live."
Sandum adds she was very disappointed in the supervisors re-endorsing the hats loop road plan and for not engaging public input on the matter.
Sandum is the president of the Citizen Alliance for Preservation. She has been endorsed by supervisor Dee Floyd.
