Wheat fields on Gutherie Road just outside of Fisherville have seen better days. The National Weather Service has yet to confirm any tornado activity there. Heavy rains and high winds could be to blame for the flattened fields.
The foreman of Bocock Farms says two inches of rain pummeled many crops Friday. He's guessing about 100 acres of wheat, barley and corn were destroyed.
Bocock Farms is one of the largest in Augusta County.
