Two boys involved in a police chase last night on Interstate 81 have been charged with attempted capital murder.
State Police say the pursuit of a stolen pick up truck began in Frederick County and ended in Shenandoah County when it wrecked.
When officers approached the truck, the driver pointed a rifle at them. One of the troopers shot him in the shoulder.
The injuries are said to not be life threatening. The 15 and 17-year-old boys from Tennessee are in custody in Shenandoah County.
They face several other charges including eluding police and grand larceny.
