A revised six-year plan was unveiled by state transportation officials Wednesday.
The $7.2 billion plan includes 80 new projects, but it also removes 16.
One of the biggest new items is an environmental study for future improvements to the Interstate 81 corridor.
And, two of the items removed, both in Harrisonburg, were a $19 million plan on I-81 to widen and renovate bridges over C&W Railroad and Blacks Run.
The second, a $10 million project on 81 to replace bridges over C&W Railroad and Country Club Road
The commonwealth transportation board will get its first look at the plan Thursday and vote on it next month.
