A severe storm struck Weyers Cave destroying at least three buildings at the Breeden's home on Keezeltown Road.
They say the storm hit around 3:30 p.m. It came from the North and tore through. Resident Johnnie Breeden says the wind was blowing so hard you could barely see out the windows.
"It would come through just a whistlin' I mean the trees and stuff was bent over sideways it was unbelievable. Her swingset got lost, pools ruined, the tractor sheds gone, the barns gone. About everything around here except the house is gone," Breeden says.
The Weyers Cave Fire Department's lawn party also suffered damages. Tables were overturned, tents collapsed and a soccer goal was uprooted.
