Friday morning, the spiritual based group Synchonicity got the news they had been dreading. Two group members have been killed in the attacks at the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai, India Wednesday.

The victims are 58-year old Alan Scherr and his 13-year-old daughter Naomi.

At a press conference Friday afternoon, the group's spokesperson, Bobbie Garvey, said this was supposed to be the opportunity of a lifetime. She had no idea the trip would turn out to be so tragic.

This journey was put together by group leader Master Charles, who had visited India many times and wanted other Synchronically members to have the same experience.

According to Synchronicity's spokesperson Bobbie Garvey, both Alan and Naomi were excited about this trip.

Garvey says Naomi wanted to write about her experience for a school essay.

At this time, Synchronicity leaders are working hard to get other group members out of India and back home safely.
