A Richmond grand jury has indicted a 20-year-old woman on a first-degree murder charge in the slaying of a Virginia Commonwealth University student in a city park.

The grand jury on Monday also indicted LaPrecious Nicole Austin on two counts of robbery and three counts of possessing a firearm as a felon in the death of 19-year-old Mount Jackson resident Tyler Binstead. Austin already has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Austin is accused of being the getaway driver in the March 27 slaying, in which Binstead was fatally shot in the back. Her trial is scheduled for January 13.

Two others have been convicted in Binstead's slaying.
