A Nelson County man faces three life terms plus 60 years after pleading guilty Tuesday to six felony sexual molestation charges.
Fifty-two-year-old Roy Roosevelt Rose, of Arrington, was convicted of three charges of aggravated sexual battery and three charges of animate object penetration. He had also been charged with three counts of felony sodomy, but those charges were dropped.
Nelson County Commonwealth's Attorney Phillip Payne says Rose molested the girl regularly over a three-year period before the girl turned 13. Payne says the girl used a pillow to muffle her own screams so she wouldn't wake up her mother.
Payne says Rose threatened the girl if she told anyone.
Rose will be sentenced Aug. 5.
