Tourism officials say more than 1,000 hotel rooms are still available in the Washington region for those wanting to attend President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration.

The city's tourism bureau, Destination DC, announced Friday that it has located more than 1,400 rooms within 30 miles of Washington. Destination DC says there are hundreds of additional rooms within 200 miles of the city.

It says room rates vary from $100 to more than $1,000 per night. Minimum stay restrictions may apply.

Destination DC says it has been in contact with the region's hotels and tourism offices. Those seeking the latest information on availability can call 800-422-8644.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
