The victims of an apartment complex fire in Hampton have been identified as two children and their great-grandmother.

Hampton Fire Marshal Anne-Marie Loughran said the bodies of 72-year-old Jeanette Manchion, eight-year-old Jaida Custodio and seven-year-old Jordin Custodio were found on the second and third floor of a building that had partially collapsed.

All three victims died from smoke inhalation.

Eight people were injured in the fire which broke out last Thursday night at the apartment complex on Bimini Crossing.

Loughran says the cause of the fire hasn't been determined.
