The man charged with a string of robberies across the Valley was finally in Augusta County District Court Tuesday after his case had been continued twice.

At his preliminary hearing, a judge found there was enough evidence to certify charges against Brian Eugene Brubaker to a grand jury.

Brubaker is accused of trying to rob the Ladd Convenience Store in Stuarts Draft in June.

He is also charged in connection with other robberies in Greene and Rockingham counties.

A trial date has yet to be set.
