One of the five suspects in the shooting death of Reginald "Shay" Nicholson is now out on bond.
Nineteen-year-old Demonds Antonio Parrish is out on a $5,000 bond, after a successful bond appeal Thursday morning.
Five men, including Parrish, are accused of being involved in Nicholson's November 9 shooting near the James Madison University campus. Nicholson died two weeks after the shooting.
According to court documents, the men are members of the "Bloods" street gang.
Investigators say the suspects from Greene County and Charlottesville were attending a party near JMU's campus when the shooting occurred.
An investigator says the men walked in the apartment and said "Bloods in the house" and threw hand signs at the crowd.
According to one suspect, there was a fight at the party.
