You may have seen two large structures on the interstate Saturday. Developers say two red and blue bridges arrived by police escort and will be fitted to the Urban Exchange in Harrisonburg sometime in January.

Workers are currently getting the framing up on all four floors, which will soon serve as condominiums, restaurants, office space, and a two-level parking garage.

Barry Kelley says the bridges create a simple look for the building.

"There's four floors of framing and they're tied together by three different bridges, which are designed to go in A angles kind of emulate the sun and light going into the buildings," says Kelley.

Three more trucks and one more bridge are expected by Monday. Kelley says the Urban Exchange should be finished by July or August.
