About 130 different breeds and varieties were on display. Among them, hounds, terriers, sporting and non-sporting dogs and puppies, all competing for Best in Show.

The dogs, handlers and judges came from all over the country. Amanda Giles from Toms Brook is showing off an Afghan Hound, Red.

"You can't do it unless the dog wants to do it, so, it's a lot of fun when you've got a dog who likes to perform because it makes everything so much easier," she says.

Red is the proud recipient of the Best Afghan prize at the competition.
