A man who allegedly ran his pick-up truck into a home has been arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding and destruction of property.

Billy Joe Huffman of Strasburg was arrested January 1 for an incident that occurred early in the morning on December 16.

A truck was driven into a home on Mountain Road in Warren County and the driver drove away before police arrived.

Two people inside the home were injured in the incident and the home was condemned because of the damage caused by the truck.

The truck was later seen on Strasburg Road and Huffman was arrested and charged with a DUI, which police say is his third offense in ten years.

Huffman faces charges of attempted malicious wounding and attempted malicious wounding of a family member for hitting the victims with his truck. The charge for destruction of property is a felony.

He posted $12,500 bond and is expected to be arraigned on two separate days, January 20 and January 22.
