Waynesboro Police Investigate Armed Robbery
Waynesboro, Va. Waynesboro Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Sunoco station located on North Poplar Avenue.

Waynesboro Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Sunoco station located on North Poplar Avenue.
They say a man came in and threatened the clerk with a silver gun around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The suspect ran away from the store with more than $200 in cash.
Police say they are looking for man standing about five foot eight who was dressed all in black at the time of the incident. He also had a brown bandana across his face.
A Waynesboro Police Department K9 and a blood hound from the Virginia State Police both attempted to track the suspect but were unsuccessful.
